Can you believe we are 20 days into the New Year? I hope and pray that your holidays were filled with many blessings, joy and love.
Last year was purposely a quiet year for us, in terms of Jo Jo Bean events. Since publishing the Jo Jo Bean series, we hit the ground running without a break. Three years later, we realized that we needed to replenish and renew ourselves. We needed a major system upgrade. Our family took time to cruise to Bermuda, enjoy the wet adventures of an indoor waterpark, and hang out at the local water spray park. The real Jo Jo Bean, who now prefers to be called Jo Jo had a great year of MMA, Boxing and Swimming victories. We recently added guitar playing to his daily adventures. With all of these activities, he still manages to maintain great grades. Talk about a kid who never seems to sleep?
With this balancing act, Santa Claus and Elf Kyle decided to surprise him with a Christmas gift that made him cry. What was it?
Have I given up writing? Definitely not. I currently am neck deep in revisions for chapter book. I can’t say much about it now, but will say if you know an 8, 9 or 10 year old girl who LOVES glitter, dance and magic, she will love this book. It has been a real process! Now I know why it took J.K. Rowling six years to write the first Harry Potter book!!
My dear hubby has been busy as well, working on several projects. We pray that soon, you will see all of them on the big screen.
From our family to yours, we wish you continued blessings and peace for 2018.
