While Jo the Warrior isn't fond of spinach, kale or collards, he will eat a few spoonfuls of it. My husband and I have an agreement with Jo with regarding trying new foods. He has to try it one time, and if he doesn’t like it, we won’t make him eat it (we will have him to try it a few months later in a different form). How do you get a child to eat his vegetables? Bribery or force, which will probably backfire and make things worse? Lather them up with loads of butter? Buy veggie vitamins? Blend it up with apples, pineapple and honey in a smoothie? Whatever your method is, I hope that DELECTABLE VEGETABLES will bring humor, laughter, and maybe even resolution into your Veggie War with your child.
